Amazon error allowed Alexa user to eavesdrop on another

Frankfurt: A user of Amazon’s alexa audio assistant accessed thousands of recordings from other users due to “user error”.

German customer sent a link when the customer told the recording of his own activity to be made by Alexa, but he was able to access 1,700 audio files from a stranger.

Amazon’s spokesperson said on Thursday (December 20) “This unfortunate case was the result of human error and a separate single case.”

The report said that the first customer did not initially get any response when he told Amazon about access to other recordings. Then the files were removed from the Amazon provided by the link but they already downloaded it to their own computer, including the part of the German text publisher hazard.

Amazon spokesman further said “We resolve this problem with two customers who have resolved and have taken steps to further improve our process.” As a precautionary measure, we contacted the concerned authorities. ”

On the recording, a person and a female partner can rotate at home and the magazine was able to identify and communicate with them through the record.
